Poppa Santa

I'm a friendly old curmudgeon who was asked to play Santa one year. You may ask why I was asked. My family and I had just finished a wonderful dinner at a restaurant. As is my wont, I was hoping to embarass my grandkids by bellowing "Ho, Ho, Ho, Merry Christmas!" as loudly as I could.

A wonderful young woman had just left her business to search for a Santa. They were having a party for a bunch of kids and her Santa just cancelled on her. Lo and behold, she starts walking to her car and hears me. She came and found me and asked me if I would play Santa.

There are no coincidences. I firmly believe God set His plan in motion to bring us together.
